3. AUTOMATIC CUSTOMER ACCOUNT CREATION

When a customer places an order through the Website, a customer account may automatically be created using information supplied during checkout.

WooCommerce or the Website may send an automated email allowing the customer to set, create or reset their account password.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Customers may be required to send proof of payment to Peak Theory by email at orders@peaktheory.co.za or by WhatsApp.

Proof of payment may contain personal or financial information generated by the customer’s financial institution.

Customers should not send passwords, PINs, card PINs, online banking credentials or other information that Peak Theory does not require to verify payment.

Peak Theory may retain transaction information where reasonably necessary for order administration, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution or legal obligations.

6. COURIER AND DELIVERY INFORMATION

Peak Theory uses third-party courier and logistics services, which may include Bob Go and courier providers made available or recommended through Bob Go or other delivery providers selected by Peak Theory.

Information reasonably necessary to fulfil a delivery may be provided to the applicable logistics or courier provider.

This may include:

customer name;
delivery address;
contact number;
email address where required;
delivery instructions; and
information reasonably necessary to identify and deliver the parcel.

Courier providers process information according to their own applicable privacy practices and legal obligations.

Peak Theory will not intentionally provide couriers with personal information that is unnecessary for delivery.

7. WHATSAPP AND EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

Customers may communicate with Peak Theory through email or WhatsApp, including for proof of payment, order enquiries and customer service. Proof of payment sent by email must be sent to orders@peaktheory.co.za.

Information voluntarily supplied through these services may be processed for the purpose of responding to the communication, administering an order or maintaining necessary business records.

Customers should avoid sending personal information that is not reasonably necessary for the matter being discussed.

Third-party communication platforms operate under their own privacy and security practices.
